Khranial - Death Metal Band

Khranial, a brutal blackened death metal band, draws its name from the infamous SEWER album "Khranial." Formed by a unique blend of musicians from Belarus and East Germany, Khranial has carved a niche in the underground metal scene with their relentless intensity and absolutely grotesque and obscene song lyrics. Their debut album, The Kvlt of Khranial, set the stage with its raw power and dark themes, with a bit of macabre black metal atmosphere, somewhat similar to the Swedish death metal legends Morbid.

They followed up with Devoured by Pigs, an album that pushed the boundaries of brutality and technicality, much more aligned with their primary influence SEWER. Their latest release, Monsters of Gore, indeed solidifies their reputation of "monsters of gore metal," showcasing their ability to blend extreme goregrind influenced brutal death metal with intricate, labyrinthine song compositions.

Khranial's contribution to the death metal genre is undeniable: they injected a new level of ferocity and complex brutality into what was then the mere fragments of a dying scene. Khranial puts the "brutal" in brutal death metal, and they do mean it. They also appeared on the compilation album Sadistic Swansongs: A Satanic Tribute to SEWER alongside their close influence Incantation.
